Strangers in Stereo

There’s more to music than Rolling Stone

Can you point to the spot where music comes from? Is it geographic? Does it come from the right side of the brain? From a moment? An influence? Or does it find its way because it has a need to be heard? All of it has an effect on Mess. A massive effect. We’ve created hundreds of music events from NY to LA. We’ve committed infinite brain cells developing technology that brings music closer to the people. To say we’ve created digital radio stations, music based websites, apps and widgets to promote music, is only to say that we will not stop developing new ways to support it. We now have taken all that we have said and done and put it all under one big, beautiful digital roof. Strangers in Stereo.

Strangers in Stereo is a massive digital place where music’s critical mass can congregate. A site that welcomes those who live and breath and blog all things music. We announced the arrival of Strangers in Stereo with a live showcase at SXSW, and spread the word by coordinating online grass-roots communications through this newly formed network of bloggers.

Mess built Strangers in Stereo to connect and continually aggregate a global music community. We believed and have achieved bringing together multiple voices interacting and acting as one.

The industry has taken notice. Thousands have turned into tens of thousands and soon to be hundreds of thousands. Our goal is not to be Rolling Stone or replace Rolling Stone. It is to pick up where it left off.
